4-Days Tungnath & Chandrashila Trek Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Chopta
- Departure from Delhi by Hatchback/Sedan/SUV/Traveller
- Overnight journey via Haridwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Rudraprayag.
- Arrival at Chopta (base for the Tungnath trek) by morning.
- Check-in at a hotel/campsite in Chopta.
- Rest & acclimatization.
- Meals Included: No meals on Day 1 (can be arranged at extra cost).
Day 2: Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila (9 km trek) – Return to Chopta
- Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the Hotel.
- Start the Tungnath Temple Trek – the highest Shiva temple in the world at 12000 ft.
- Continue to Chandrashila Peak (2 km further) for panoramic Himalayan views.
- Descend back to Chopta by evening.
- Relax at the campsite/hotel, bonfire & dinner (optional).
- Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 3: Deoria Tal Trek (3 km) – Return to Chopta
- Morning: Breakfast at the hotel/campsite.
- Transfer to Sari Village (30 km )
- Trek to Deoria Tal (3 km) – a beautiful high-altitude lake with reflections of Himalayan peaks.
- Spend time at the lake, explore the surroundings, and click pictures.
- Trek back to Sari Village and return to Chopta by evening.
- Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 4: Check-out & Return to Delhi
- Morning: Have breakfast and check out from the hotel.
- Departure from Delhi by Hatchback/Sedan/SUV/Traveller
- Reach Delhi by late evening/night.
- Meals Included: Breakfast
